1. What is the cost of a stay at the Nurturing Nest Inn, and what is included?

A visit to the Nurturing Nest includes unlimited personal care from our expert staff. It also entails a stay in one of our tastefully decorated private bedrooms, 3 full meals and 2 snacks each day, personal laundry service, and activities, including outings around Falmouth.

Our all-inclusive rate is 250 dollars for a stay of two days and one night.

2. What methods of payment are accepted at the Nurturing Nest?

The Nest currently accepts cash, checks, VISA and Mastercard. Families should check with their local Elder Service Agency, Family Caregiver Support Program, charitable organizations, community groups, support groups and veterans benefits to assist in funding a respite stay at the Nest.

3. Does a guest have to live in the Falmouth area?

Absolutely not. Guess from all over are more than welcome.

For those unable to secure their own transportation to the Nurturing Nest, we are happy to make arrangements with a local livery service.

4. Are there any additional costs involved in a stay at the Nurturing Nest?

No. However, guests will have the opportunity to be out and about in Falmouth: thus, spending money for shopping, dining out, or other entertainment expenses should be taken into account.

5. What kinds of items are provided, and what do guests need to bring with them?

Fresh linens and towels are provided, as well as terrycloth robes. Complimentary soaps, moisturizing lotions, shampoos and conditioners are also included, as well as access to a hairdryer. Guests must bring with them any incontinence supplies they might require.

Any other personal care items should be brought as desired, or if necessary, may be purchased for guests by the Nurturing Nest staff for an additional fee.

8. What if a guest becomes ill while at the Nurturing Nest Inn?

A licensed nurse is on-call at all times in the event that an emergency situation arises. The Falmouth Hospital is located minutes away from the Nurturing Nest. If appropriate, the Nest’s nurse can be in touch with a guest’s primary care physician.

9. What if a guest has a specialized diet?

The Nurturing Nest is able to accommodate all dietary needs. Advanced notice in regards to such needs is greatly appreciated.

10. Is transportation available so that guests can get out and about on the town?

A wheelchair accessible van is available for all guests.

11. How long is a guest able to stay?

Guests at the Nurturing Nest may stay for a minimum of one night, and are welcome for as many nights as they may desire.

12. What does a guest do about his or her medication?

It is important that all guests bring an adequate amount of their medications so as to last the duration of their stay. Medication management is available to all guests as part of our all-inclusive rate. They should discuss their needs at the time reservations are made with Jeanne and Judy.
